When The Prospect of Having a Fat Belly Makes Me Happy

   To me there is one reason for gaining weight that is not wholly unpleasant...and only one. That is when it involves making a baby. Our very own baby.
   

     By now I think many of you have heard that we're expecting. The due date is mid February, shortly after our second anniversary, which puts me at about 8 weeks along! We are very excited...and a little apprehensive, which I assume is a common emotion for first time parents.
    I'm looking forward to watching Tom be a dad. He will be a super one... I already know this from watching him with other people's children. I hope our baby looks just like his/her daddy.☺
   And to answer your next question, no, we do not plan to find out whether it's a boy or girl ahead of time. Nor do we plan to reveal our name choices.☺Speaking of which, pray for us; we really don't want choosing a name to send us into marital counselling! Ha! No, it's really not that bad.
   Overall, I have been feeling well. Definitely less energetic than normal, and nap time happens almost every day, but I can't complain!
